Description
Designed for MANE, SÁLIN is an immersive spatial
experience where scent, light, and movement come
together to create a moment of inward reflection.
The project explores how scent can be experienced through space,
light, and material. The design creates an immersive environment that
encourages slowing down and inward movement, where tangible and
intangible elements shape the experience.

Visitors enter from all sides and move freely through layered openings.
As they approach the center, reflections shift, scent becomes present,
and interaction gradually reveals the inner space.
The core is composed of gold and wood spheres carrying the
scent.
Visitors take one sphere,
gradually opening the layer
around the core.
As layers are reduced, the
core becomes visible and light intensifies.
Each sphere is magnetic and can be taken home, symbolising how experiences leave a trace.
